Inversions 101

Inversions can generate feelings of fear.  The fear of falling and injury are real obstacles in our yoga practice.  Join Jennifer for this workshop to explore inversions safely, and with grace and control.

Beginning with an all levels vinyasa class to open shoulder and hamstrings, we will then experiment with a variety of ways to use the wall to help us feel secure and find balance as we turn our world upside down.  The workshop will cover headstand (salamba sirsasana), forearm stand (pincha mayruasana), shoulder stand (salamba sarvangasana), and handstand (adho mukha vrksasana).  Enjoy the many physical and psychological benefits to inversions, they are accessable for everyone with modifications and and correct knowledge!
